I wasn't really expecting to see a dikdik, as they are very flighty animals, who can disappear into the undergrowth in the flash of an eye. But as we were driving along the track, the eagle eyed guide slowed and stopped, and there just to my right, was the smallest little dear-like animal I had ever seen. It was very busy munching away on the vegetation, I dont think it realised were had approached. The meeting didn't last long, after a few quick captures it was gone.
It was a lucky capture, to actually see one in such an open space.
