Giraffe

Until you are right close-up to these beautiful, graceful beasts, you really don't realise how tall they are. The went around in herds, I couldn't tell the male from the females so couldn't say if they were a family consisting of an alpha male and his harem.

Although they did seem to have 'gangly' legs, they were able to travel at some speed, but with a graceful gait. I noticed one giraffe looking at us over a bush, while another has its head reaching into the bushes to feed, on reviewing the shot, it looks like 'one giraffe' with a seriously long neck...... brought a smile to my face....
