We had spent some time looking for a lepard. Our guide told us to look for a certain type of tree, covered on top with vegitation to protect against the midday sun. Strong sprawling branches to take the lepards wieght, and tall enough to view the vista for any prey that might saunter by.
Finally, sat up high in a tree minding his own business we saw a Lepard. To be honest, he just sat there looking this way and that, not really looking for something in particular, I guess just having an afternoon nap, because when we parked up, not far from the tree he was in, he was in fact fast asleep, waking up as we approached.
He opened his eyes, gave a massive yawn and just sat there....... occasionally glancing in our direction... So we left him to his afternoon nap.... I took shot after shot, all very similar captures so I won't bore you with them. Below is the lepard, 'sitting' 'yawning' and 'looking in our direction'
I hope he didn't have a fleeting thought of having us for dinner......
